Scott was a wildly popular author in the early 1800s, writing poetry and historical fiction. 'Ivanhoe,' originally published in 1819, was his 8th novel. The beautiful floral cover of an 1893 edition has been reproduced in perfect 1"-scale for this miniature version, and the blank pages are gilded with 18k gold leaf. A fabulous addition to any miniature scene.
