Poems: Second Series (1891)

A handmade 1"-scale miniature adaptation of Emily Dickinson's 'Poems: Second Series.' As with most of Dickinson's work, this book was published after her death by her friends. I have abridged the text for this miniature version, to keep the scale of the book realistic. It contains Part 1 of the original, "Life." I have also incoporated a portrait of Dickinson as a frontspiece. The original-edition cover art has been preserved, on a beautiful dusty wine background.

This readable miniature book is 21 pages long including the title page and frontspiece, with one black-and-white picture of the author and lovely champagne-colored moiré endpapers. The text is readable with a magnifying glass. A wonderful addition to any miniature scene!
