Antique Schoolbooks and Strap
A beautifully detailed set of blank miniature reproduction antique schoolbooks, bound with a leather strap and working double-loop buckle. The books and the strap look well-used, as though they've been lugged back and forth to school many times, and probably left sitting on a playground more than once! A wonderful addition to any Victorian scene.
The set includes 3 hardbound books:
- Monroe's First Steps in Spelling (1874)
- The National First Reader (1860), and
- Tower's Elements of Grammar (1855)
Blank pages. Books measure 3/4" tall (19 mm). Vibrant, high-quality hardbound covers with readable titles and superb graphics. Books are removable from the leather strap. Handcrafted apple by Brenda Shahzada (not included.)
