Golden 'Chocolate' Coins - Set of 2
The tradition of foil-wrapped chocolate coins comes to us from 19th-century Eastern European chocolatiers, although the practice of giving coins at the holidays is ancient in many cultures. Today these chocolate favors are given as Christmas stocking stuffers and tree decorations, Hanukkah gelt (Yiddish for 'money'), and Kwanzaa favors.
These miniatures golden coins are handsculpted from polymer clay and tied in a golden mesh bag with a cheerful red bow. Each bag measures approximately 3/16" across (4mm) and contains several tiny coins. Set of 2 bags, with a few loose coins for you to place as you wish.
Blue & silver Hanukkah versions are available separately.
