My Bookhouse 6-Volume Set (1920s)
Beautiful handmade miniature reproductions of a collection that has been in my family for three generations. The originals were published by The Bookhouse for Children in the 1920s, and have green leather-grain covers with embossed lettering on the front and gilt lettering on the spine. Wonderful cover illustrations by Donn P. Crane, Billie Parks, G. Ketchum, N.C. Wyeth, and others. The pages are gilded with real 18k gold leaf for a truly rich look.
