Equestrian Bookends

Add an equestrian touch to any miniature study. Finely detailed horse busts in a bronze finish are set off by deep brown bases. They make a lovely complement to my miniature books (sold separately). ½" (12 mm) tall.

I finish these cast-metal miniatures myself. Before I even begin painting I put a lot of work into filing and cleaning to remove seam lines and other mold artifacts, and into refining and restoring details obscured in the casting process. I use a variety of painting techniques to achieve a realistic finish, with single-hair paintbrushes (and even the occasional cat whisker) to do the fine details. Finally I add gold leaf, flocking, and other finishing trims. I do all of this to create true heirloom-quality miniatures that you will be proud to display in your scenes.
